Fins & Things: longer, one-way, with steep drops
Grand County lists Fins & Things at 9.4 miles with a Red Rock Four-Wheelers rating of 5 out of 10. It is one-way. The trailhead is 1.8 miles beyond the entrance station; trailer parking is earlier, at 1.4 miles on the south side of Sand Flats Road.
The route has steep slickrock climbs and drops, including a ravine section without an alternate. The portion south of Sand Flats Road has a day-use restriction. Read the full mileage log and map before choosing it just because its rating is lower.

The county lists Hell’s Revenge at approximately 6.5 miles and a rating of 6 out of 10. Its entrance is just beyond the Sand Flats entrance station, with trailer parking at the trailhead. Follow the 4x4 markings; the route crosses the separate Slickrock Bike Trail.
Pay particular attention to the return-route notes. The county describes badly eroded ledges near mile 5 and recommends backtracking or the Staircase route. Read the current description before departure rather than relying on a video of one obstacle.
Grand County: Hell’s Revenge trail description and mapsWhich one fits your group?
Use the lower rating as one piece of the decision, alongside the whole route description. Ask about driver experience, clearance, wheelbase and how comfortable everyone is with steep terrain. Trail mileage alone won’t tell you how long the day will take.
If you’re new to this kind of driving, discuss a suitable outing with an experienced local guide rather than picking between these two by name. If the Jeep has an axle noise, coolant leak or suspension problem, get that checked before the trip. New lockers won’t fix an existing mechanical problem.
