FROM OUR CUSTOMERS

REPAIR STORIES.

A few repairs customers have shared in their reviews.

1992 Toyota 4Runner

CV axle work, with a budget in mind.

Justin brought his hunting rig in for a CV axle replacement. When other shock and front-end concerns came up, he says Jim explained different repair options and worked with him on a solution that fit his budget.

Toyota 4Runner

Fixing a squeak in a 4Runner.

Rodney brought his 4Runner in because it was squeaking. He says it rode much better after the repair, so he brought his other vehicle in for similar work. He also appreciated a follow-up call to see how things were going.

Jeep Grand Cherokee

Help with troublesome air suspension.

Kara came to Jim and the team for help with her Grand Cherokee’s air suspension. Her review describes more than one issue with the system, and credits the team with fixing it and being quick to help when she needed them.

Oil changes & maintenance

We handle oil changes and routine maintenance at the Salem shop. Tell us what you drive, its mileage and any service history you have. Call to arrange a time and discuss the work it is due for.

Suspension & shock repair

A rough ride or a change in handling is a reason to have the suspension checked. We work on shocks and suspension repairs, including Jeeps with existing modifications. Tell us what changed and which parts have already been replaced.

Axle & CV axle repair

We handle axle and CV axle work for Jeeps, trucks and SUVs. If you hear clicking, feel a vibration or notice a leak, describe when it happens. Bring any information you have about previous axle, gear or suspension changes.

Overheating & coolant leak repair

If the vehicle is running hot or losing coolant, call about the problem before planning a trip. Tell us when it happens and what has already been checked. We can discuss diagnosis and the repair needed; do not keep driving a vehicle that is overheating.

Daily drivers and modified rigs.

We work on daily drivers as well as trail rigs. A vehicle with larger tires, a lift or previous axle work has a history worth knowing. Tell us about those changes along with the current problem.

An estimate for your job.

Call about the repair and current availability. Some jobs need an inspection before an estimate. We’ll discuss the next step for your vehicle so you know what to arrange before dropping it off.

Keep planning.

BEFORE YOUR VISIT

A FEW
ANSWERS.

Do you do maintenance as well as off-road upgrades?

Yes. We do oil changes and routine maintenance as well as suspension, axle and cooling-related repair work. Call about your vehicle and arrange a visit to the Salem shop.

Can you work on a Jeep or truck that has already been modified?

Yes. Tell us about its lift, tire size and any axle or gear changes. A parts list or earlier repair records help us understand what is fitted before planning the work.

Can I get a price before you see the vehicle?

Call with the details to discuss the job. Some work needs an inspection before the shop can give an estimate. Ask what the next step involves before scheduling.
