SUSPENSION &
SHOCK REPAIR.

A rough ride, a new clunk or a change in handling is worth checking. We work on shocks and suspension repairs for daily drivers and modified rigs at our Salem, Utah shop.

Exposed axle and suspension during workshop repairs

Tell us when it happens.

Does it clunk over bumps, ride rough all the time or shake at a particular speed? Those details help explain the problem. A noise or vibration alone does not tell us which part needs replacing; the vehicle may need an inspection.

Stock suspension or an existing lift.

We work on vehicles with factory suspension as well as ones that have already been modified. Tell us the tire size, lift brand and height if you know them, and what has been replaced recently. A parts list helps when the setup no longer matches the factory specifications.

Repair experience customers have shared.

Kara Kovac’s Google review describes bringing in a Grand Cherokee with an air-suspension problem. Justin Olsen’s review describes CV axle work on his 1992 4Runner and a discussion with Jim about additional shock and front-end concerns. Their repair stories are on our auto repair page.

Fixing a problem or planning a lift?

If you want to change the ride height, see our lift-kit page. If you want the vehicle to ride properly again, start with the symptom. We can discuss the repair before you spend money on upgrade parts.

Keep planning.

BEFORE YOUR VISIT

A FEW
ANSWERS.

Do you repair suspension on vehicles that are not lifted?

Yes. We work on stock daily drivers as well as lifted Jeeps, trucks and SUVs.

Will a steering damper fix my Jeep’s shake?

We would not choose a part from that symptom alone. Tell us when the shake happens and what has already been checked. Our steering-shake article explains the limits of a specific Jeep damper bulletin and why diagnosis matters.

How long will a suspension repair take?

That depends on the fault, the parts needed and the vehicle’s condition. Call to discuss inspection, availability and an estimate for your job; a shock replacement and a wider suspension repair are different scopes of work.
